| charles-I Tl Posts: 1 USA | Posted - 6/19/2005 9:09:26 AM    Have a dell Inspiron 1100 (note book) w/Win XP. Had to re-install XP. Now I can't find any evidence that a modem exists. Question: How can I find the make of said modem (dell site no help), so that I can contact mfgr. site or m'soft site to get proper driver, etc? Thanks for any usable help! |
| ChrisFix Tl Posts: 3 USA | Posted - 6/21/2005 12:54:53 PM I'm by no means a modem expert, but I do have dell computers. If you go to the dell web site and navigate to support there is an area to enter your computer's Service Tag (which will be clearly indicated on the bottom of your laptop). With that info, it will provide you the OE configuration of your computer and direct you to the correct drivers. Give that a try... |
