| Tracey Tl Posts: 1 USA | Posted - 10/5/2005 7:58:38 AM    When using a modem connected to a terminal server and not using fax mode or voice mode: Is it true that the DTE speed can be reported, but cannot be set to a specific rate (auto-baud only)? Any insight will be appreciated. |
| v.Richard Tl Posts: 6222 USA | Posted - 10/10/2005 11:25:35 PM  DTE speed - the speed which the modem communicates to the terminal server. Modem will auto-baud to speed of the connected terminal equipment - in your case the DTE speed can be set to specific rate via terminal server.
