Installed a D-Link DU-562M USB modem as a temp replacement and all was well, but then heard back that it wasn't working the next time they tried it. The pc now freezes on boot up. If I disconnect the USB modem it boots fine. I can then plug it back in and run the diagnostics within Control Panel>Modems it passes with now problems. If I then try to dial up their connection the TFT goes blank and then has a message to say out of sync, there is a constant screech from the modem and the pc hangs. Seems to be some conflict between the USB modem either at boot or when trying to dial up. They have a USB mouse and k/board which work fine. Any suggestions? |

Aloha! Richard. |
