| gogi100 Tl Posts: 1 Croatia | Posted - 1/9/2006 12:40:11 PM    i have XP pro and lucent modem that installed ok but when i try that connect on interenet modem dial numbers of my provider but after nothing going on.All it's stand. What i do? I change slots, i disable option wait on dial tone. nothing What i do? Help me thank's |
| v.Richard Tl Posts: 6222 USA | Posted - 1/9/2006 4:27:18 PM  Check the country setting for the modem www.modemsite.com/56k/ltwin9.asp note - since Croatia is not a listed country, you'll need to find out/use a code that uses same standards as your country. Other possibilities: the modem itself may be bad; the modem driver may not be installed correctly (what driver version do you have?/ un-install/re-install); the modem may not actually be a lt winmodem - what chip # is on the modem?
