Hello, my Dell D610 laptop has a Connexant D110 MDC V.9x modem.

I find myself in a remote location where I have access to an analog phone jack but no physical phone.

Since I prefer not to carry a phone to this location, I am trying to find software that would allow me to use my laptop's headset to talk on the phone.

Any ideas where I may find software like this ?

No can do - winmodem voice function limited to answering machine.
