I am trying to set up another PC to dial into my home PC. Using a HCF V90 with XP Os. My problem is the modem answers too quickly,(2nd ring) and as I am on a dial up service, and use the home phone line, it is impossible to receive normal calls. I need to set the modem to allow about 9 or 10 rings before it answers. Can you help?

where # = the # of rings you want the modem to answer on in the initialization string (extra settings) for the modem
