In the past I purchased 2 Agere SV92P modems from Modem Site.. and would like to install both of them in the same computer. I am currently using the 8.30.0.0 driver.

Using plug and play... and moving both cards to every available pci slot, I can not get both card to work at the same time.

Is there a way to do this? Thanks in advance for any help you may offer

If you are using driver version 8.30, you either have the LT/Agere Winmodem, or you are using the incorrect driver. 8.30 is for Windmodem; Softmodem drivers are verions 2.1.xx - at

Agere never had as design goal putting more than 1 modem of same chipset in PC; but, SOME (older) driver versions may work in some instances.
Best solution is to use 2 different chipsets; but, if you want to try, download and install older modem drivers (but first, make sure you know which modem you have, and use the drivers for your modem type).
