| klmoyer Tl Posts: 1 USA | Posted - 10/16/2006 8:33:30 PM    I have a Lucent Venus Modem made by Askey Computer Company, Model 1456VQH-T that I am using with Windows XP Professional. I searched the forum for V.92 upgrade information for this specific modem/OS/vendor and was unable to find any. Could someone please let me know if it is possible to upgrade this modem to V.92? It is my understanding that I will need firmware upgrades and I have been unable to find any. Does anyone have any information that could help or are there forums I am missing on this topic that might help? Finally, I don't mind getting a different modem if it's a lost cause, could you please let me know? Thanks for all of your help! |
| v.Richard Tl Posts: 6222 USA | Posted - 10/16/2006 9:44:21 PM  It might be possible with the right firmware flash (the wrong one can make the modem totally inoperable) --- but, I do not know where you would find the right firmware for your modem.... Aloha! Richard. |
