| oliversl Tl Posts: 2 Paraguay | Posted - 3/22/2007 5:21:14 PM     HI, I have an old computer, P2 400Mhz running windows XP. I have a PCI Lucent Modem that can dial with no problem. When I connect to hyperterminal and the dial the modem, I hear the phone ringing but the modem does not shows the RING word. Could it be that the PC has a PCI 1.0 (5Volts) motherboard and the modem is a PCI 1.1 (3.5 Volts) ? I don't know that else to try, I already upgraded the driver/firmware with no luck Any tips are welcome! Thanks |

I don't know which country is likely to work or not, so, would suggest trying until you find one that works. Aloha! Richard. |
