When i'v tried to connect to the internet via DUN, i didn't hear the ring and stopped with the msg "dialing XXXXXXX" after that, an error msg appeared "remote computer doesn't response..."

i checked the cable, the name and the password, scan my computer for viruses (with kasperSky)>>>> without any benefit>>>>>>>>

Then i formatted c drive, with my files still unchanged in d drive
and still the same problem >>> can't connect to the internet>>>>
it made me crazy...
i don't know what to do>>>

What version of Windows are you running?

Oh - I see.
Well, see if you can make anything out - what does it say after the 'Dialing' line?

Do you hear a remote computer/modem answer?

Try connecting to the ISP using Hyperterminal as described at
www.modemsite.com/56k/x2-hyperterm.asp
www.modemsite.com/56k/usehyper.asp

Make sure that you have the modem set to your country, or a country that uses same/similar phone standards.
