I have LtMoH Toshiba internal modem with agere version 1.75

Is there much difference between 1.76 and 1.75?

Is it any better to upgrade to 1.76 or 1.77?

Who will provide future upgrades?

No, there is not much difference -
1.76 adds support for some non-English languages and for 64-bit Windows OS.

Can't answer the 2nd question - but no one can provide upgrades unless Agere - now LSI - develops the upgrade.

Thanks for the above info., Richard.

Another question re: display of call id info. on incoming calls when using dial-up.
When using a software such as Phone Tray on
an incoming call the time, date, telephone# and caller name
will usually all show up on the display.
When using the default Toshiba set-up most info. is usually
not displayed except on rare occasions (only date & time
show up regularly). Is this due to poor software with Toshiba and/or Agere? Is there an easy way to correct this?

Don't know - I'm not aware of any problem with the Agere software displaying the caller id info that the phone company supplies....
