Formally though, I think it is refered to as Motorola's model- sm56. I have call waiting on my line and would like to utilize the feature of modem on hold if possible but can't figure out how to do so. The bundled cd (with the driver) had no utility and I can't find any info online for special strings that would invoke the modem to perform "modem on hold". Since it is a v92 capable modem and my ISP uses v92 should'nt it work? Do you know of any special strings that I should employ to get it to work or possibly a utility? JW |

It specifies only that the modem will provide "interoperability" with V.92 - meaning, it will connect to V.92 servers, but does not provide/support all V.92 features such as modem-on-hold. Aloha!
