Hi!
I have a Connexant 56K modem installed in my PC. I'm using dial-up connection. Problem is that, my modem connects me to the internet only when i use a specific ISP (say ABC) and if i use some other ISP it doesnt connect. And gives messages like "Remote Computer not responding" OR "There was a hardware failure".
It connects sometimes but only once in a while.
Modem works fine when i'm connected thru ABC ISP...
what can be possible error source?

Thanks in Advance

You may have an old driver - if you update the driver that might help.

You might also succeed in connecting if you disable 56k on the modem - see

Aloha! Richard.
