| jjfarm Tl Posts: 2 | Posted - 8/9/2000 1:47:12 PM    My normal connect speed is 26.4. I bought a Digicom Systems(division of Creative Labs)Modem Blaster DE5670 USB in May 00. After a few weeks I noticed the modem took longer to connect and it connected at 21.6. Since then it connects at anywhere from 7200 to 24K. I have two pc's and two phone lines and I swapped lines but the USB modem still connected slower than 26.4 while the other went to 26.4. I have reloaded(several times) the drivers, updates, the PC drivers, and everything else I can think of. The FCC # is H8NTAI-25919-M5-E. I don't know whose chipset is in this thing but the FCC # comes back as Askey Computer. I have been in email contact with Creative and Dell and some forums but no luck. Maybe you can help. |

| malo Tl Posts: 7 Canada | Posted - 8/12/2000 8:20:01 PM You should go to the site of digicom at www.digicomsys.com from there, go at support, download, there is a driver update for the 5670 modem. Thake a look at www.askey.com, they make a USB modem that could be the one sold by Digiton as a Modem Blaster, you could their driver. |
