My ISP is Earthlink and I continuallly get disconnected. Ther solution to the problem is to "Call your modem manjfacturer and have them add a modem string in the modem properties.This is a command that will help speed up the connection and help stabilize the connection." I have a Lucent Win Modem. I have no idea what they are suggesting. Hellp!

They didn't give you accruate or good advice.
